Our Rural Housing Enabling team acts as a trusted broker between residents, landowners, housing associations, and councils. They assess local housing needs and identify suitable land for affordable homes in Mole Valley, Tandridge, Guildford, and Waverley.
A Housing Needs Survey is an evidence-gathering questionnaire distributed to residents within a specific local area or parish. Its purpose is to understand the community’s housing profile and identify if—and what types of—new homes are required, particularly affordable housing for local people.
We are currently carrying out the following housing needs surveys. If you live in one of these areas, please help us by taking part.
