Find a Good Neighbour

NeighbourCare is a local, long-established registered charity run entirely by volunteer drivers and telephone operators and endorsed by Elmbridge Borough Council. We provide help for the less mobile in the communities of Thames Ditton, Long Ditton, Weston Green and Hinchley Wood.

A volunteer-run, community transport scheme, which enables elderly patients of Cobham Health Centre without other means of transport to attend medical appointments in the local area. Volunteer drivers can provide transport Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 5.00pm to most hospitals, health centres and clinics in Cobham, Downside, Stoke D’Abernon, Hatchford, Epsom, Leatherhead, Royal Surrey, Kingston, St Peter’s Chertsey, Sutton and the Royal Marsden, Sutton. However, volunteers are unable to assist with transport to hospitals in London, St Helier and Ashford.

CARE in Weybridge is a group of volunteers who drive local residents to and from medical and other appointments. We can also take them shopping, or we can shop for them.

Care in Walton and Hersham is a local transport charity serving the residents of Walton-on-Thames and Hersham.

Our Constitution states that the group’s Object is “to assist persons in Walton and Hersham who are elderly, sick, disabled or in need.”

Care is a voluntary organisation comprising a committee, drivers, and Duty Officers who take requests for transport using a dedicated mobile phone. Our volunteer drivers use their own cars to take clients to medical and dental appointments.
